The revolution that never was It's a pity...

The revolution that never was

It's a pity that Zimbabweans still pin their hopes on the politicians.
Our politicians have since proven their fallibility and their weakness when it comes to chasing after their desires.
Zimbabwe is now held hostage by a bunch of pillagers and robbers.
The education, health, public service delivery systems have but remained pathetic.
The economic recovery is now stagnanting.
Budget deficit is rising in every month.
Jobs remain elusive and gainfull employment is now a dream for many.

Politicians have failed us because of our blind faith in them.

Neil Armstrong: the end of the American Century

Neil was one of the pioneers of space explorations. The race to the moon was about power and prestige. The Americans won because they had the economic might over the Soviet Union. The 20th century was America's century of glory in science and technology. Armstrong represented a fading generation of Americans that not only believed but also lived the American dream. That generation is fading and so has the American dream. The current generation is preoccupied with gay rights forgetting the recession and the rise of the BRICS.
