The smartphone on Zimbabwe's streets

Of late Zimbabwe has been flooded with smartphones of all types and models.
The coming of the smartphone has increased Zimbabwe's internet usage.
The advantages of accessibility are innumerable.
The one problem is the phone models and their functions.

In as much as these fakes, imitations and unknown brands bring convenience, they are suspect when it comes to security.
No one knows how much data and personal user information they send to their makers.
Most of them have no malware protection. They are very susceptible to viruses and other malware leaving the user at a loss.

I think there is need for a policy on the types and brands that are allowed in order to protect the users who are the public.
